Description
Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) is a strong, aromatic herb with a long history in European, Middle Eastern, and Traditional Chinese medicine. Best known for its use in cleansing the body of parasites, stimulating digestive function, and supporting liver and gallbladder detox, wormwood is also a traditional ingredient in absinthe.
Its intensely bitter taste encourages the secretion of digestive juices, making it an excellent herb for sluggish digestion and liver stagnation.
