Subtle, rich and silky smooth Jojoba is the sole species of the family Simmondsiaceae, placed in the order Caryophyllales.

This oil is rare in that it is an extremely long straight-chain wax ester and not a triglyceride, making jojoba and its derivative jojoba esters more similar to human sebum than other vegetable oils.

Jojoba oil sinks quickly into the skin helping to moisturise and soften. It offers anti-inflammatory properties and improves moisture retention, flexibility of the skin, and skin repair, making it an excellent choice as an anti ageing oil Jojoba Oil is actually a wax. It is highly stable with a long shelf life. Jojoba acts as a natural anti-inflammatory and is a good choice for use in massage and for inflamed skin. It’s composition is similar to that of the skin’s natural sebum (oil). Jojoba Oil is a good choice for use with those that have oily or acne prone skin.

DIRECTIONS: Apply the oil directly to your face by moistening your fingers with a few drops. Add a few drops to your daily moisturiser or hair conditioner for an added boost. Jojoba can be used neat on adults and children. You can also add a few drops of essential oil to make a hydrating massage oil.
